The short version
Sophicrypt does not collect, store or share any personal information. There are no accounts, no ads, no analytics and no tracking.
What stays on your device
Your puzzle progress, statistics, streaks, theme and reminder settings are saved only on your own device so the game can remember them. They are never sent to us or anyone else. Deleting the app (or clearing your browser's data for this site) removes them.
Notifications
If you turn on the daily reminder in the app, your phone schedules the reminder itself. No notification service or server is involved, and you can turn it off at any time in the app or in your phone's settings.
Sharing
When you tap Share, your phone's share sheet opens with a short result message. Nothing is shared unless you choose where to send it.
Website hosting
The website is served through Amazon CloudFront. Like any web host, it may keep standard server logs (such as IP address and pages requested) for security and reliability. We do not use these to identify you.
Children
The game is suitable for all ages and collects no information from anyone, including children.
